first post yet again !!!

     After so many years I am back again on this blog. and the thing that stuck me most about it is my previous post party@Mircosft. At that time there was a lot of excitement and everything appeared so perfect. Now that I have worked in Microsoft and having attended its many parties, may be better organised than before and offering much more than that night. But I always have few thing to add to improve them.  This made me realize me may be it wasn't the party that was so awesome. It was something else with didn't even appear in that post and those were my  F.R.I.E.N.D.S. I really miss my friends company of whom converted everything awesome around me. Also, I use to say to my friends that this is the best time of our lives but  not even I was not convinced within. But today I can definitely say that was truly awesome. Many Thanks to all my friends being for there.
 
  Back gaining conciseness, this is my first post againnnn. But this time I will sincerely try to blog more often as I have been working on lot of open source technologies and SEARCH.

IPL vs world T20

     It is the same old question which comes in different forms presenting itself more in a more challenging way than ever before. It’s the same question as capitalism vs. communism or money vs. patriotism, austerity vs. glamour and many more. We all know the answer to all the questions. if we ask ourselves we are living in this age because we know the answer to these questions as all these lead to the same Darwin's theory of survival for the fittest.

     It’s now time for BCCI to answer the same question which has came to it as IPL vs. world T20. After making few(when compared to its potential) quick bucks through IPL now it’s time to look up for the long term strategies. The quick buck has come because of the passion of an Indian feeling proud when we beat strong international sides and become world champions. It was never because of few IPL teams representing few states/places wining with each other with the help of a foreign player or an Indian player who because of money wining a match against his own state but loosing it morally. It will lead to a mentality where after sometime you goes to a state of mind where you actually don't care. All that matters is money and your competition will just be your teammate fighting for the same spot in the team. As long as you are doing better than him you are satisfied. This is what looks the state of the Indian team, where we picked up relative good player leading to a absolute pathetic TEAM INDIA.

      Team India’s performance was an absolute disaster in the world cup T20. They never looked comfortable in the field. The bowling was as usual lethargic. Our pace or I should say medium pace battery was down. Spin not doing much on fast tracks. Our batting which is counted as our strength didn’t do much, some batsmen clicked during earlier but loosing the advantage when batting in the death overs. Running between the wickets appeared as if they are shooting for some commercial which no speed and lot of facial expressions. Our fielding effort was abysmal, dropping the catches like newbies which might have come for the training.

      All this is after BCCI was claiming that IPL has improved the T20 game for India as they have got more exposure and practice. We are getting new talents(wonder where were the chosen ones). But after the Indian performance I don’t think so BCCI has much to say or more appropriately put, there not much an Indian can hear. But they still can’t accept, that the performance could be affected due to long and tiring season of IPL and after parties. They still deny that after parties were causing any problem and that they didn’t affect players health, fitness and routine in anyway. It is pretty obvious that there is no long term planning. Its aim is few rating points quickly which will mean more money to the current stake holders. Who cares about the future, they will not be on the chair bearing the burden. And they also have few standard tricks under their disposal to address the nations anger which includes sacking the coach, few new coaches and changing captains.

     BCCI should understand that even if we want to promote IPL as best sporting event the way to achieve this still goes through making a best TEAM INDIA in every form of the game. IPL can only be a byproduct of cricket in India. This is the right time to get our vision clear, we need to have our strategies and priority right. May be make IPL an once occurring event every two years, complementary to T20 world cup. Have a separate team or at least few specialists for each format. Players selected for international events should have a camp for at least for a month to regain the fitness and co-ordination. It should be ensured that payments to the players should be maximum for playing for TEAM INDIA instead of playing for some franchise.Incentives should be given to the players opting out of IPL for an international tournament.

     If no steps taken soon, it would it also will meet a fate like ICL, which obviously failed because their players were not allowed in team India. People didn’t bond as much with players not playing for the national side. So in order to save IPL and inflow of few quick bucks save TEAM INDIA. Otherwise, as Navjot Singh Siddhu might say,

“ money has wings my friend and it flies even faster when running away”

Party @ Microsoft

Ok, At last I got both time and matter which is the best combination for blogging.So as the topic itself suggest I am going to talk about Microsoft's annual party but before that let me take sometime to describe one of the happiest days of my life.

So the day begin at 10:30 .. the timing itself suggest that I have already missed my breakfast...because we r having holidays sry :( annnual sports meet. So the our next plan was to attend the barcamp at infosys.

ONLY FOR GEEKS
Barcamp is the occasion where various companies discuss on some new technology being introduced and it use in various fields. This time their were to discuss about web2.
This time it was happening in Hyderabad for the 3rd time.

THE STORY RESUMES ...
Our motto was not to learn any geeky thing or listen their boring talks instead we want to go there because their was very strong chance of getting a free lunch and a geeky kind of free t-shirt 2 reasons good enough to encourage us to get to our next door neighbour infosys and which was further strengthened by Saini who got amazons t-shirt which they were distributing while campus interview.

So we went to infosys through shortcut climbing through the boundary wall reached the infosys at time. Infosys has a very huge and a very beautiful campus with lots of greenery which a kind of explained why they give less pays to their employees.
We went to the seminar hall where the talk was going on, where we found tht no t-shirt from barcamp this time even the lunch was also shrinked to snacks. So we decided to go back after having a look at the campus which was really big accounting for the man power the infosys have.But it didn't went that bad because at last we got a t-shirt thanks to SLIDE-SHARE who distributed some t-shirts mind you some didn't got even that. It wasn't that good as we expected but at least we have got one. After taking snacks in the break we never went back to talk.

Now we were preparing for the major event of the night party by Microsoft ... preparation in the sense confirming our tickets as there was a huge competition for it but as usual we won again.So we reached the convention center where the party was being organized.It was way too inside and we have to walk around 2 km which wasn't that bad because their were three girls whom we made to follow us.

We reached to the main stage were event was going on.For the first time I saw the glamor of the corporate or more precisely IT world. There were beautiful girls in most awesome dresses. We went inside, where JIMMY MOSSES a guy from laughter challenge trying to make public laugh ..wht a pathetic effort. But we had something more important to do ...we had tokens for beverages which we distributed among ourselves, than we had our first corporate drink which was vodka in orange juice...drinking vodka was not my first experience but drinking in front of such a crowd was the first. We slowly finished our drinkkk and went for dinner ...still JIMMY MOSSES was saying smthing and laughing on his own activities. After Dinner we had our second drink this time we went for some more strong alcohol ..whiskey in soda ..mind it was strong ... i really felt something I cann't describe ..but was in total control of my self. Now was the turn of shaan ...my many time favorite.. we went near to dancing floor were we saw some of seniors ... some real geeks dancing which inspired me to do smthing ..so we joined them ...mind you I don't know a single step of dance I was just trying to copy people around me and my memory. There were really gud gals on the floor but with their so called boyfriends ..and most of my seniors, the most eligible bachelor still alone ...poor iiit ...We were really dancing fast. We danced for a long time with one more break for my final drink which was again whiskey.DJ of the party was also good ...and we danced with friends ..seniors ...[:(]
While returning back ...One of my friend was so happy that he went to gals toilet ...we stopped him but it was the most worst decision we ever took ...and we r really sorry till date for that ..still many people thr including some good looking gals saw him doing so and was really laughing aloud may be to tease him ...
ne ways we took a microsoft cab back to college. Didn't had strength to do anything else slept continuosly for 10 hrs and still the neck is paining....
One more good day of my life was over ...and with which this post.

PS1: i am newbie in writing blogs so no criticism is invited. the length of blog is justified with my frequency of writing blogs its second in two years..
PS2: I skipped names for technical reasons ...and my feelings at the dance floor for personal reasons...

ok let me tell you tht the insipiration for creating this blog has came from my friend ankit a.k.a @nks one of the most enthusiastic blogger whom i know personally .
